Stakeholder Instant Feedback Tool (SIFTtm)
Value Proposition - The Stakeholder Instant Feedback Tool (SIFT) is an easy, cost-effective, online means to provide individuals being coached or mentored with real-time, anonymous, and regular (biweekly, monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly) feedback. The feedback is received from the people of their choice who they interact with and/or would be able to adequately evaluate their performance. An individual can create their own questions or can select from a list of questions provided. The respondents provide the individual input to help the requester track behavioral and performance change.
What is SIFT? You should think about SIFT as a very fast, light version of CALIBER (Culturally Adapted Leadership for Improved Business Excellence and Results). SIFT allows anonymous input to the requester to help them continually grow and improve. This is similar to a 360-degree feedback tool, but all of the input is automatically accumulated and can be instantly viewed by the requester without having to do any manual data gathering or manual analysis.
Why do SIFT? SIFT allows the person being coached or mentored to make real-time course corrections to their behaviors and practices for continuous personal and organizational improvement.
Who should do SIFT? Anyone that wants to get the most out of their coaching/mentoring experience and continuously improve their capabilities, organizational performance and business results.
How does SIFT work for the individual being rated? The person being coached or mentored receives a secure web site to input their rater's email addresses. Feedback is received instantly through a simple web interface that can be viewed on a biweekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. Each of the on-line reports is dynamic and immediate.
How does SIFT work for the raters? Each rater is automatically sent an e-mail inviting him or her to provide feedback. A survey can contain a single question, or as many as desired as defined by the person being rated. Typical surveys contain 5 to 12 questions, which are rated on a 5-point scale and can be completed in less than 3 minutes. At regular intervals (biweekly, monthly, or bi-monthly) the raters will receive a reminder email to rerate the same set of questions for the requestor.
